It's a great drive, along what was described as a rollercoaster ride needs some up keep but a great bbq area with swings. No access to the weir but you can sit at bbq table see the weir and enjoy t...
Great little picnic area
No swimming facilities anymore but still a cute little park and free bbq near the weir. Lovely to hear it running over.
best place to stop and recover
great place to have family bbq or gathering with little or no traffic going past, playground for the kids, cricket field across the road, the weir to see nature and fish
Big drive for not much
nice spot for a picnic, but theres other places just as pleasant that are closer to maryborough. good for a picnic or a peruse after rain, but dangerous for kids then.
