Visit the headquarters of Airbus
Because I wanted to visit Airbus, I came to Toulouse.
Toulouse is where the Airbus headquarters is located. In fact, it is the office and production workshop. The security guards here are strictly guarded. Everyone can only visit along the designated route for about one and a half hours. The guide introduces the entire production process of the A380, which is very shocking. It is forbidden to take photos during the tour, the photos were taken outside the factory.
Toulouse is the headquarters of Airbus. The area here is very large and the security guards are tight. Everyone can only visit within the restricted area. There are many exhibits such as real airplanes and engine models, and aviation fans will love it here.
Please note that this Airbus headquarters is not the place to be visited. It is the office area. Figure 1 shows the visiting address. Figure 2 shows the way to visit the place. Figure 3 shows the Toulouse transportation pass.
The rules for visiting Airbus are very strict. You must first make a reservation on the Airbus Visit website (even workers’ families can only go through this route), EU resident registration ID card, and alien registration passport. Cameras must be stored in the reception area, mobile phones are not allowed, and a badge marked Visiteur must be worn when visiting.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday
When it comes to Toulouse, everyone knows that the famous Airbus headquarters is here. You can only visit in certain areas. You can see many real aircraft and models. You can learn about the basic assembly of the aircraft along the set route Process, increased a lot of knowledge.
In the southeast corner of Toulouse’s old international airport, there is an empty space belonging to Airbus, fenced with railings, displaying old aircraft collected from all over the world. There are many familiar or rare figures among them. The most exciting tour of my blood-A380 assembly plant. After passing through the Airbus cafeteria (it seems that it does not accept tourists, I went in and asked about it. A manager said it was not open to the public. It is possible that different people would make different judgments) and enter the main entrance. The white building on the right is the A380 assembly plant. The factory is 490 meters long, 43 meters high, and 250 meters wide.
