Birthplace of Raffaello is deceptively large home
Very interesting to tour round the house to see how an important family lived in Urbino. Raphael’s father, Giovanni Santi, was court painter to the local ruling family.
Historic place
A nice medieval house of quite a wealthy family at a time. Interesting to see the bright place - room - where the famous painter was born.

And as if the Palazzo Ducale and the National Gallery of Art weren't enough, Raphael is born in Urbino and the his casa natale is in its original location, even if it's quite reconstructed. Still, he ...
