The Church of St. Jeremiah is located next to Rabia House. Its appearance is not too attractive, and the light-colored walls are a bit dilapidated. The square in front faces several restaurants, but due to the rush of time, I didn't walk in and have a look.
The Church of St. Jeremiah is not far from the train station and is the home of St. Lucia. The body was preserved as a mummy. The church itself is located in the Cannon-steel area, in front of the Grand Canal. The church was razed to the ground in the 19th century to make room for the new railway station. The current one is rebuilt.
The church of St. Jeremiah is right next to the Rabia House. The light-colored walls look a bit dilapidated and look very historic.
It’s right by the Grand Canal, it’s easy to see
Ancient and great historical sites-The ancient historical sites of the Church of St. Jeremiah always make me in awe. The feeling of visiting the Church of St. Jeremiah in Venice is still unforgettable. In fact, the reason for going to Venice was to find this church. I was planning to spend half a day there, but I found that the time of the day was a bit rush. Get off the train from Venice Railway Station and quickly arrive at the Church of St. Jeremiah. The legendary remains of St. Lucy are located in front of the church. There is an altar around her. She stands in the altar with a solemn and sacred mood. I have close contact with the West, but there are very few people in this area, basically I am the only one staying here. On the right side of St. Lucy is an exquisite small gift shop. The shop displays literature related to St. Lucy, postcards, rosary beads and many other goods at reasonable prices. There are many such shops nearby, so there is no need to worry about not being able to buy anything. When I left the store, I stumbled upon someone in the church who was celebrating Mass. After the mass, a woman hurriedly walked to the center of the church and told us that we must prepare to leave, because the church was about to close. As long as I visit the city of Venice, the church of St. Jeremiah is a place I must go to. The exterior of the church is very beautiful and ornamental. I feel different every time I go. I will never be disappointed when I go to see it. Tips: The interior of the church is very simple and interesting, the most worthy of savoring is the exterior of the church and the remains of Saint Lucy. The owners of the small shops around are very enthusiastic towards tourists, with smiles on their faces. Unfortunately, some of the words cannot be understood, but their enthusiasm affects me.
