The Church of San Salvador is located in the center of Venice. The altars inside the church are decorated with artistic paintings of the Renaissance Venetian painter Titian Vecellio depicting angels and the transfiguration of Jesus before the three disciples to the world. We saw this church by accident when we took a gondola ride. The church is next to the pier where we boarded and disembarked. The exterior of the church is beautifully decorated and the interior of the church is also beautiful, but photography is not allowed.
We came here especially for this church, giving it a magnificent feeling, and the inside is even more beautiful.
Chiesa di San Salvador (also known as The church of the Holy Savior) is situated in the best location of Venice- right next to the famous shopping street Merceria. The church is almost thousand years old and is very beautiful both from the inside and from the outside. We love it!
This church not only has a beautiful appearance, but also exquisite carvings!
The overall feeling is pretty good, making this trip very optimistic.
