🔛Founded in 737 AD (some say it was built by King Ashoka over 2000 years ago), it was originally just a small pagoda built on a square stone pedestal.
🔱In the year 1566, King Setathirak of Lan Xang built a large tower on the basis of the small tower, named "Pha That Luang Chanthabouly Ratsamani", meaning the stupa of the Buddha's relics, where the Buddha's relics are buried under the tower.

🛕The Ta Lou is entirely made of gray brick architectural structure, consisting of 1⃣️ main tower and 30 satellite towers, with a worship pavilion built on each side.
🔲The tower base is square, the upper part is circular, and the tower tip is conical, towering into the clouds and piercing the sky.
☝️The top of the main tower is gold-plated (it is also said that the spire is made of pure gold). In the sunlight, it shines brightly and dazzlingly.

The Reclining Buddha Temple is one of many temples in Vientiane, and the scale is not very large, but because it is only one way away from the famous Tayu Temple, there is a huge Reclining Buddha, so the popularity is more vigorous. Inside is a very beautiful tall sculpture, with a prince-like figure in the bow archery. There are several angles, you can take pictures of the Big Golden Pagoda of the Tayu Temple. The surrounding walls are also more distinctive, all of which are the golden towers of high-respected and noble families, which are spectacular.
The Lao Big Buddha Tower should be part of the Tayan Temple and is also a landmark in Laos, because there is also a special festival called "Tayan Festival". The Big Buddha Tower is a platinum tower, so please note that the number of circles around it should be singular. There is a circle of corridors next to the tower, which can cover the wind and rain, and it is a good intention.
A must visit landmark in Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. It is a gold covered Buddhist stupa that is synonymous with the national symbol of Laos. The main structure can be found printed on the 1000kip currency!
