the Basilica is small, but it is really worth seeing...and the view from the little square in front of it is really a must!
Steep walk but rewarding.
Be prepared for a steep walk, about an hour with breaks along the way. It's a well paved walking track with sitting spots along the way and beautiful panoramic views. Well worth the effort.
A walk in the clouds
A must see if you visit Viggiano. Home to the Black Madonna during the spring and summer. The 2 kilometer walk is well worth the effort.

It is the place you can't stop visiting if you visit Viggiano. The road is safe, signalled and paved. It is a beautiful place.. it rises in car to a point and then 1 km and a little more walking ...
