Valley of the Temples

Agligento is an important tourist town in Sicily, and the Valley of the Temple is the most famous attraction. Being in the Valley of the Temple seems to have entered ancient Greece, and the relics of various ancient Greek temples are well preserved and fragmented.

"Valley of the Temple" is a small hill 2 kilometers south of the city of Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. Standing on the top of the mountain, the eye of the mountain suddenly opens, overlooking Agrigento in front, and behind is the green area of the valley. The top of the mountain is arranged with the remains of the ancient Greek temple of brown red. The temple stands majestic, It's like a rainbow.

The entire archaeological area has three doors, we entered from gate 5, next to a parking lot. The entire temple group is very large: the Concorde Temple, Giant Stone and the Jura Temple are very shocking! It still takes a certain amount of time and physical strength to visit the whole area in the hot August. We spent nearly 5 hours including lunch time on the whole trip. I recommend everyone to go around villa athena from an almond tree path next to the Concord Temple for a panoramic lunch of the temple. It is a great experience!

The Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi) is south of Agrigento City and contains the remains of seven temples: the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Heracles, the Temple of Olympia Zeus, the Temple of Nephew and the Temple of Polux, the Temple of Asclepios and the Temple of Waken. Known as the "Valley of the Temples", six of them are located on the top of the mountain, and the only temple of Asclepis is located on the banks of the Accragas River. There is still a lot of things that have not been excavated, you can only imagine how magnificent this place is in the ancient world!
