The Barbican was built in 1548, it is directly situated where the Old Town merges into in the New Town. It served as an access gate for the Old Town and is integrated directly into the Warsaw City Wall that surrounds the Old Town.

For the first time in Europe, I saw the city gates and walls made of red bricks. They are very similar to the Chinese city walls. I have a familiar feeling. The city gates and walls are very thin. Can they play a defensive function? The moat has dried up. We also had a potluck by the way.
Barbican is the old city of Warsaw, but this red brick castle was later rebuilt. This was originally the fortifications of the ancient city of Warsaw, and now there is a small exhibition hall that displays some old photos of Warsaw, from which you can see that Poland's fate has been ups and downs.
