We had a half-day (morning) cruise with the expedition team. The boat is beautiful and clean, and the crew is very friendly and efficient. The cruise ship will sail along Whitehaven Beach, but it is not actually possible to visit the beach in person. Instead, it visited Xiaowan, where a small caretaker would put you ashore. Next you will be guided up the mountain until you reach an observation platform. The view from there is absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the shallows, sand and sea colors, blue, turquoise, white,... trekking and downhill are a bit laborious but well worth it. Afterwards you will visit the bay’s own beach. You can swim if you want, but at least you should be involved in the shallows. You will see many fish, and we also encountered some stingrays.

Hill Bay is located in the north of Whitehaven Beach. The most amazing thing about Hill Bay is that when the tide changes, the sea and young sand mix with each other. It can be seen from a distance (Tongue Point Observatory) or from a high altitude (helicopter or small plane). The most amazing viewing spot! Take a catamaran from the pier and transfer to a ferry boat when you arrive near Hill Bay. After disembarking, hike up the mountain for about 15 minutes to reach the observation deck. After staying at the viewing platform for 15 minutes, go snorkeling in the shallows below the mountain, where there are many manta rays! ! ! Occasionally, I can see a few small lemon sharks, the small sharks do not eat people! ! ! It’s not easy to just swim faster and want to shoot.
Hill Bay is the best place to watch White Heaven Beach. It seems that there are 3 viewing platforms with different angles.
It takes a long way to get to the Hill Bay Observation Deck. Although the steps are a bit boring and very dry, there will be beautiful scenery waiting for you when you climb to the heights.
There is a tour guide on the viewing platform who will introduce the history of the attraction, but the English is not good and I don’t understand anything and just take pictures.
There are toilets nearby to hurry up, but toilets on the island are hard to find.
We had a half-day expedition here-it was amazing! Be sure to check it out, the photo is so wonderful that it presents itself! You can spend a good day-because when you have time on the beach later, this improves the clarity of the water, which will make your experience even more wonderful! ! ‘
Hill Bay is located at the northern end of Baigang, with an inland river passing through the white sand, which is picturesque.
What a great lookout to view Hill Inlet from the lookout walk that originates in Tongue Bay. It’s an easy walk to the lookout and the beach right on Hill Inlet.
This is a short little walk from the beach with a lookout overlooking this amazing landscape with ever shifting sands. We were told that every photo was unique because the sands shift and change every...
We did an Ocean Rafting (fantastic!) tour which included the walk up to Hill Inlet Lookout! WOW The view is absolutely out of this world!! Don’t think you could get a better ‘beach’ view anywhere i...
Stunning, with swirling sands and overlooking world acclaimed Whitehaven Beach. The paths and lookout are first class
After a reasonable climb up structured stairs, covered by often loose gravel (wear footwear), you arrive at the first of 2 platforms. As amazing as that view is, it gets even better at the second ...
