What a dump !
An absolute dump ! No signs to the place We had to ask 2 people. You have to walk past a sewage works to get here, and the smell on a hot day is appalling. Nothing to see, just ruins. With graffiti...
Well what a surprise amd a history lesson. we parked in Hoebridge school and walk to the palace the people knew a lot of the history and showed some of the finds that they ahd found onsite.
This is only open at certain times so you need to check before visiting . when we visited there were various guides at points around the ruins explaining what it was like in the days of Henry V111 and...
This palace was once lived in by King Henry VIII for a time. The Palace is ruined and there are some parts of buildings to see. Its all free. Its isolated and about a 10-15 minute walk to town.
