Wuyishan National Park

Wuyi Mountain has the dual titles of World Natural Heritage and World Cultural Heritage, and is divided into Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve and Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. The Wuyi Mountain landscape that tourists visit now is concentrated in the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area from the west side of Chongyang to Xincun. The nature reserve has been closed to the public since 2010 to protect the ecological environment.

Wuyi Mountain can be divided into four areas: Tianyou Peak to Taoyuan Cave, Jiuqu Creek to Wuyi Palace, Yixiantian to Huxiaoyan, and Dahongpao to Shuilian Cave. The scenic spots in the Attraction are relatively scattered, one in the east and one in the west. Unlike other tourist attractions, you can't visit them all at once, so it usually takes 2-3 days to play here.

If you only have one day, the Tianyou Peak and the Jiuqu River are generally the ideal routes. For tea lovers, walking along the tea field trail from Dahongpao to Shuiliandong and smelling the tea fragrance in the valley is also interesting.

If you have two days, you can basically visit all four areas. You can first take a rafting trip on Jiuqu River. The end of the bamboo raft is Wuyi Palace, and then visit Shuilian Cave and Dahongpao Attraction. Shuilian Cave and Dahongpao Scenic Attraction are connected. The walking path in the middle has a very good view, and it is relatively flat and easy to walk. On the second day, visit the southern line of Wuyi Mountain, where there are Tianyou Peak, Yixiantian, Huxiaoyan and other attractions. In the morning, you can play in the Tianyou Peak area, and in the afternoon, you can play Yixiantian + Huxiaoyan. Huxiaoyan is directly after coming out of Yixiantian.

If you have enough time and can spare three days, then in addition to the four major areas of Wuyishan Scenic Area, you can also visit ancient villages and cities such as Meicun and Chengcun.

Accommodation

Wuyi Mountain has various guesthouses, hotels, youth hostels, and homestays. But generally speaking, small hotels are the main ones. Prices vary according to the grade.

About Meals

Common snacks in Wuyi Mountain are flat meat and Vietnamese noodles. Special dishes include Lan Gu smoked goose, snake banquet, high mountain bamboo shoots, mushrooms, etc. They all taste very good and are worth tasting.
