The movie-like quality is absolutely stunning, and you can immerse yourself in the Qin Dynasty.
"The Great Qin" is a must-see!
💕 First of all, the conclusion is that I was really shocked by the plot and the stage design. I have one more reason to come to Xi'an, and it was worth the trip!
The grand historical background, the historical fact of Qin's unification of the six states, and how to present the heavy history on stage in a fresher way, this proposition has a new solution in the hands of directors Zhou Liya and Han Zhen.
✅ The moving seats really give you a sense of time travel!
✅ The flying stage design really makes you feel like you're in a movie!
💫 "The Great Qin" uses a unique perspective, with a soldier named "Heifu" as the story's clue, to show the profound history of the Qin Dynasty through his personal perspective.
I have to say that the theater built specifically for "The Great Qin" is really amazing, with a super long theater area, giving the plot and stage design enough space to unfold.
💌 Six main scenes are presented one by one as the seats move, similar to the push shots in movies. The audience follows the story, step by step, through the Qin Dynasty, until the end of the 80-minute story, when the seats move backward, similar to the "pull shots" in movies, pulling the audience back to the present from the history of thousands of years. This moment really feels like time travel.
And this cinematic quality is vividly expressed in the stage design, props, and scene design, whether it is the desolate beauty of the reeds, the thrilling assassination of Qin by Jing Ke, or the grandeur of building the Qin Palace, from the sky to the ground, using wires, water mist, large props, and lights, every space is fully utilized, and every picture can be used as wallpaper!
👉🏻 Before the show starts, there will be a warm-up of the archaeological excavation site of the Terracotta Warriors, which is completely like moving the excavation site of Pit No. 1 to the theater, so it is recommended to arrive early. I especially like the moment when the Terracotta Warriors and other remaining historical relics break out of the ground at the beginning, these relics rise up shining with brilliance, accompanied by the ancient zither sound, that scene really gave me goosebumps! The "Beauty Dance" in the reeds feels like it will be a Spring Festival Gala program, it's really beautiful~. And watching the Qin Palace rise from the ground, the Terracotta Warriors awaken from the ground... these are the shocking experiences that must be experienced on site.
🔥 You must come to Xi'an, not to mention anything else, "The Great Qin" is really a must-see!
Fantastic performers, fantabulous experience and wonderful venues. The minus thing is the patrons of the locals some couldn’t keep quiet while watching
Absolutely stunning, grand scale, and a large cast and crew who all gave their all; the most worthwhile performance in Xi'an. However, the design of the stairs outside the main entrance is utterly incompetent and incredibly inconvenient. It's especially difficult for elderly people to navigate. Why not just have a parallel entrance instead of these long stairs? A truly idiotic design.
It's worth the ticket price. The stage effect is very good. It's so shocking.
Super shocking! The theater is very beautiful, and the service of the brothers and sisters is very warm~ The seats will move, weapons will float over your head, and assassins will fall from the sky. It's so cool. A must-see show in Xi'an, no one else. It's a big production at first glance, the director seems to be a top star, the actors are very dedicated, and the use of sound, light and electricity feels leading in China. Highly recommended! Parking: Follow the navigation, the parking lot is on the east side of the theater, and parking is free for watching the show. Seats: There are VIP areas and ordinary abcd areas. The seats are stepped, and you can sit anywhere. You must wear seat belts on your seats, and you can't hold children but you have to buy tickets.
The Qin Dynasty, a baptism of light and shadow! A shock to the soul! At the beginning, the atmosphere was full, and the "archaeologists" were working in front of them. The sign "Archaeological site, no entry for idle people" was put up, which instantly brought people into a specific situation. Then the lights went out, weapons and armor slowly rose into the air, and the performance officially began. The whole performance was like sitting in a time machine and experiencing the history of the Qin Dynasty with "Heifu". The forward-looking seats are matched with 360-degree full-screen projection. When Jing Ke assassinated Qin, the assassin fell from the sky. The tension and excitement felt like it happened around me. It was so exciting! There is also the "Jiang Jia" segment, which is really beautiful. The scenes on the stage are magnificent, and the actors' dances are light and moving. "The Qin Dynasty" is really worth seeing! Friends who are going to watch it, remember to arrange the time in advance, don't be late, you can't go to the toilet during the performance, and don't bring drinks or snacks in. My seat was very close in the second row, so the immersion was very sufficient. The whole performance was mainly dance and the story was supplemented. The overall dance was shocking. I was so close that I could even hear the sound of the actors beating their chests, which was quite nice.
[Scenery] It doesn't take long to visit, one hour is enough. [Fun] You need to book tickets in advance to watch the epic fantasy performance [Value for money] It depends on your personal interests and has a certain degree of viewing value Some areas are still under construction
