My child was so excited about the whale specimen, and was immediately overwhelmed by its sheer size. He cried... a true example of "Lord Ye's love of dragons" (a Chinese idiom meaning someone who professes to love something but is actually afraid of it)... hahaha. The guide was incredibly gentle and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the explanations! A million thumbs up!
This science and technology museum uses a "visible and tangible" approach to make dry scientific knowledge lively and engaging. Whether it's the basic science exhibition area for teenagers or the cutting-edge technology exhibition for adults, both areas offer tailored teaching methods. The exhibition areas feature concise and clear explanations, along with animated demonstrations and interactive experiments, making even complex physical laws easily accessible. More than just an exhibition space, it serves as a bridge connecting the public and science, making it a perfect base for popular science education.
Our stay at the Hotel Nikko Chengdu Yixin Lake was truly enjoyable. Upon check-in, we casually asked if we could upgrade our room type, and Alex readily agreed. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly addressed and resolved. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly attentive. Seeing we had finished all four bottles of mineral water, they brought two extra bottles when they refilled the water. The bathtub was incredibly convenient for bathing the children. The cleaning lady drained the water from the previous night and left the bathtub spotless. Since we had brought our own disposable bath bags, the hotel lady noticed and placed two of the hotel's bath bags for us to use. They were incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu; I'm very satisfied.
Xiamen Science and Technology Museum is worthy of being called "Science Disneyland". It is so much fun! As soon as I entered the museum, I was attracted by the spacious and bright exhibition hall and the unique architectural design. There are many interactive experience projects in the museum, such as the mirror maze, invisible man experience, etc., which are full of fun and challenges, allowing children to have a lot of fun. For children, this is not only a playground, but also a good classroom for learning scientific knowledge, which can stimulate their interest in science and spirit of exploration. It is strongly recommended that everyone must come here to check in when they come to Xiamen.
Xiamen Science and Technology Museum is an advanced comprehensive science and technology museum in China and a popular parent-child travel destination. It is known as the "Disney of Science". Xiamen Science and Technology Museum has 5 major theme exhibition halls, including "Ocean Cradle", "Exploration and Discovery", "Creation and Civilization", "Harmony and Development" and "Children and Future", with a total of more than 400 interactive experience projects. For example, the deep-sea elevator project allows visitors to experience the mystery of the deep sea in person; projects such as the mirror maze and the time-space tunnel are full of fun and challenges. The Children's Museum is designed for young children and has amusement facilities such as jungle adventures, ocean ball pools, and slides, which are very suitable for parent-child play. The robot performances and Rubik's Cube competitions in the Creation Museum are not only interesting but also stimulate children's creativity
There is no other favorite parent-child project, which is better than Chengyi in Jimei! During the epidemic, 500 places are limited in the morning and afternoon. Make an appointment in advance and the annual pass is free. There are really few people! The experience is perfect! Recommended projects that must be experienced: 1. Deep-sea elevator, which can carry about 20 people at a time, 360-degree observation of marine life, and the elevator also has vibration interaction, which children like very much. 2. Magic sound, which is a project to experience sound effects. I forgot what it is called. It is next to the car hall on the first floor, near the entrance of the children's park. This is not suitable for children, but adults really have to come! It was so shocking. I experienced it alone in the room, and it was creepy. 3. Children's Science Park. I came here for the third time and found out that there is a children's science park on the second floor! It's very big! All kinds of fun! There is also a jungle adventure area, which can only be entered if you are under 140cm. 4. Movies. Three types, all priced at 30 yuan/person. We watched VR, and only 6 people can be seen in one show. It’s totally worth it. There are two parts, Soaring Over China and Roller Coaster. I prefer Soaring Over China!
Take your kids out for a walk at Xiamen Science and Technology Museum~ Transportation Let’s talk about transportation first: it’s very convenient to drive there. The Science and Technology Museum has a parking lot, which is together with the museum~but we didn’t park there, but parked in the ground parking space of the building a little ahead. The parking fee is not expensive, more than 3 hours, 7 yuan! There is also a bus stop near the Science and Technology Museum, and many cars pass by. You can check the details through the map app. Exhibition content This time there are ocean, car, human body and aerospace exhibitions. It takes at least half a day to see and experience them all. Ocean area-you can experience the deep-sea elevator, which the children like very much~you can see the deep sea scenes and various deep-sea creatures in it! [grin] It also introduces deep-sea operating submarines from all over the world, such as the Jiaolong Car area-you can understand the structure of the car and experience various functions, such as braking, engine operation, etc. Human body area-the various organs of the human body are displayed in a very three-dimensional and vivid way, which is easy to understand! Space Exhibition-The most shocking thing is the time-space tunnel, where you can watch the wonderful scenes of outer space and feel the sense of weightlessness [naughty] Exhibition highlights You need to experience the game experience in each area: such as simulating how fish swim in water; space movies, submarine elevators, etc. [candy] We also experienced the 720VR theater, which is very realistic and loved by both adults and children! Finally, we went to the children's park~ Tips If you are interested in each area, you can arrange a day. There are places to eat around! ! ! But it is best to bring some snacks. There is no place to eat inside, only a beverage vending machine! There is a counter selling sausage ice cream! If you only focus on one or two museums, you can also go to the nearby library and museum after visiting. It is on the side, which is very convenient I bought tickets and brought 2 children. The younger one did not need a ticket if he was not more than 1.2 meters tall, and the older one bought a student ticket! But it would be more cost-effective to have a tourist annual card!
😍😍😍Xiamen Science and Technology Museum is really a great place for kids to go. In fact, not only children, but adults can also go there to gain a lot of knowledge and fill our missing childhood. There are very, very many small scientific experiments that can be done. Many of the small projects are all kinds of small experiments that everyone has heard of or seen in books, but definitely have never done by themselves. 😍😍😍, and the principles are very easy to understand, and the whole museum is very interesting. The area is so large that you can't play enough in a whole day. It's especially like the Aviation Museum, the Children's Museum, the Amusement World, the Ocean Museum, the Dream Theater, etc. Every one of them is really great. This is my second time bringing my baby here. I have experience this time. I bought a lot of snacks. If you can fill your stomach with food and drinks, you can play for a whole day. And here, if you go out for lunch at noon, you can come back. It's very user-friendly.
