Tianbao Ancient Village

The ancient village of Tianbao is a famous historical and cultural village in the south of the Yangtze River. The name of Tianbao originated in the Tang Dynasty, which means "green waves and clear waves, natural treasures, and heavy Luoyang". Tianbao has a history of more than 1,800 years. It is the seat of the ancient Yifeng County. It has a profound cultural heritage. "Drinking reputation in the south of the Yangtze River, it is known as "Little Nanjing". There are 141 houses in Ming and Qing Dynasties, of which 22 are under key protection. The total length of ancient stone slab road is 7375 meters, there are 43 ancient lanes, 23 ancient gate towers, 36 ancient wells, 9 ancient bridges, 25 ancient plaques, and historical slogans. There are 23 trees, 46 ancient trees of more than 2 meters in diameter, one ancient city wall, 1486 meters long, one moat, 1631.6 meters long, and a Bacon school built in 1919. Tianbao is known as "the first ancient village in Jiangxi" by experts. From the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, Tianbao gave birth to 151 Jinshi Juren, including 22 Jinshi. Liu Bingzhong, who presided over the design of the Grand Kyoto in the Yuan Dynasty, and Liu Ji (Liu Bowen), the founder of the Ming Dynasty, were both born in Tianbao. Modern Foreign Minister Liu Shishun and Ganzhou Commissioner Liu Jida were both born in Tianbao. There is also a slang term in Tianbao folks: "Tenbao firecrackers and Liuyang umbrellas, Tianbao girls don't need to choose them", which describes Tianbao women's soft voice and gentle personality, as famous as Wanzai firecrackers and Liuyang paper umbrellas.
