Shengshou Temple is located on the hillside of Fulong Mountain in Xiayan Township, about 20 kilometers northwest of Yiwu City. The mountain gate is close to the road. When you get out of the car, the couplet on the stone pillars on both sides of the mountain gate will clearly enter your eyes. After entering the mountain gate, go up the stairs along the stone steps, pass the Buyun Pavilion, the Lotus Sutra Pavilion and the Bell Tower, and you can see the Shengshou Temple in the green mountains. Shengshou Temple was built in the early Tang Dynasty. At the beginning, there was "a dream of flying springs blowing smoke, strange rocks soaking in clouds and water, withered pine roots left, and green berries and moss in urn towers". Due to the quiet environment, famous scholars such as Song Lian and Fang Xiaowei often write books and give lectures here. With the passage of time, Shengshou Temple was built repeatedly. The current monastery was rebuilt in recent years. The only relics left in the temple are the stele of Shengshou Temple, Shi Luohan, Shizhuangzuo and Bairuquan in Yuan Dynasty. However, the ancient Arhat pine tree that came back to life at the back of the temple is a spectacle.
