What people are saying:

The Yuejiang Tower was built looking at the Xijiang River. The season when a kapok tree was blooming in front of the door was like a red flag waving in the wind. It was a pretty daring look against the Yuejiang Tower! It was built in the Ming Dynasty, and only by looking at the information did I know that Japan hit here, NND. . . The most out of Zhaoqing Yuejiang Tower is the site of the Ye Ting Independence Group.

Additional Information

The Yuejiang Tower is located on the rock hills to the east of Zhengdong Road in Duanzhou District. Built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it represents traditional southern architecture in the garden-courtyard style. Today the Yuejiang Tower serves as a museum that commemorates its history as the site of the Independent Troop led by General Ye Ting (1896-1946). It also serves as the Zhaoqing City Museum. In the tower tourists can view exhibitions about Ye Ting's Independent Troop. They can also visit the Songtai Academy on the west side and view the ink stone exhibition there. It is a great place for sightseeing and public education.
