Have you got on the right train?
A nice enough journey but not exceptional. Not too much to do or see on the plateau, particularly if you stay close to the top station. Would suggest instead the journey to the top of Rigi.
Nice short ride to an enjoyable mountain plateau
This cog railway is the best way to get to the Zug mountain plateau, as the road is quite narrow and parking almost impossible on weekends. Be aware that you should take the bus to the railway station...
