What people are saying:

New Zealand's geographical location is far from the main continent, so the flames of war have not burned to this pure land. But they can't escape the influence of war, especially as a Commonwealth country, war is inevitable.

    Great part of our history

Worth a visit when you drop in to Matakana Village, a beautifully looked after war memorial. Check out the statue of King George too - he has lost his head three times!

    Lovely to visit

Well worth the trip. Very informative and the cultural performance was great. However, there were some very dark spaces in parts of the museum, and it was hard to read the information in those spots.
