There are three lakes in Gosausee, namely the former lake (VordererGosausee), the small lake (Gosaulacke) and the rear lake (HintereGosausee). The car can reach the front lake, the small lake and the back lake are hidden in the deep mountains. In addition to hikers, the peaks here are also famous rock climbing sites, and Lake Gosau also attracts many diving enthusiasts. If the weather is good, Lake Gosau is a good angle to see the "torch of the Alps" Daschstein Peak.
