The small room in the tower is full of murals, which have high artistic appreciation value.
The most famous of Nandamanye Temple is the mural of "The Temptation of the Witch" painted inside the stupa. In the mural, the naked and sexy witch tried to seduce the Buddha and disturb the Buddha's enlightenment meditation, but the Buddha was not moved by it. Such straightforward mural paintings should be considered rare in the Bagan period, but the guards in the pagoda prohibit visitors from taking pictures.
