Baiyu Temple Photos

Baiyu Temple is located on the northern slope of Baiyu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is one of the three larger Nyingma lama temples in the Kangzang area (the other two are Gantuo Temple in Baiyu County and Zhuqing Temple in Dege County). It is one of the five major temples supported by Dege Tusi. In the 14th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1675), the site was chosen to build a temple. The terrain around the temple site has an auspicious appearance, so it is named "Auspicious Zunsheng Bodhi Island", and the full Tibetan name is "Baiyu Langjie Jiangqiu Lin", which is generally called Baiyu Temple, of which "Baiyu" means "auspicious place". Bai Yu is indeed a fairy tale world. Occupying an entire mountain beside the county town, temples and huts where lamas practiced are lined up one after another. The spectacle is incredible to outsiders. Baiyu Temple is not only a landmark building in Baiyu County, but also a more suitable building complex for landscape photography due to the terrain. The light of Baiyu is special. At dusk, the visual impact of Baiyu Temple makes people panic. The light in the morning gives peace and tranquility, and it is very easy to make a good film.
