A real treasureIm almost reluctant to talk about this restaurant in case it becomes overrun and loses its wonderful atmosphere and ambiance. Others have raved about the food and I completely agree. We had a lunch and a dinner here - hard to say which was more perfect. There is a gorgeous courtyard hidden away at the back, with its eclectic mix of furniture and pots of herbs and basil growing everywhere. Ah, the aroma!. There is also a little deli attached and at the lovely ladys suggestion I tried her special blend of fresh lemon juice and mint. This smoothy was an OMG moment, just perfect on a hot Bali day. Back for dinner the following night (we couldnt stay away). Hugely impressed with the complimentary soup entree taster and the basket of divine mixed Italian breads. Loved that the chef came and greeted diners at each of the tables after our meals. The tables werent jammed together as so many in Bali are. Decor is gorgeous, whitewash with bright bouganvillea dripping over the ...
Different italian restaurant in SemiyakEnjoeyd a lovely dinner twice in this restaurant. Really nice interior, really nice furniture and many nice details to explore when waiting the food to come. In the toilet there are writings on the wall and also made my own statement there, the staff kindly gave me the crayons! Food simple italian, tasty and the portion sizes enough to fill the big mans stomach.
Best kept Secret in BaliOne of the best kept secrets in Bali. We loved this restaurant, fantastic food, great ambiance and wonderful service. The food was to die for and they made us feel so special. Going back to Bali soon and we will be back to this wonderful haven of food. Do yourself a favour and try it, you wont be disappointed
Very good food at excellent pricesZibiru offers up a variety of very high quality Italian food. The menu is more northern Italy with dishes at the creamier, denser end of the spectrum. The decor is rural Western Europe chic with large tables well spaced with white timber and walls. We had kids with us and despite the lack of childrens menu, the kitchen happily simplified some dishes to suit them. This is what you can get from proper restaurants that cook to order. The food is incredibly well priced for the quality. If youre hankering for a good bowl of pasta and arent buying wine or arent a big drinker you could get away with 500,000 for a three course meal.My tips:- The Wednesday/Friday night jazz band adds a very pleasant ambience.- leave room for desert, theyre excellent.
Could not fault itThe food was great, very fresh and perfectly cooked. I asked for a special table and we were setup with a romantic setting all on our own. Cant say enough about the staff and service, it was just fantastic. The wine list is a little pricey but all quality, i would definitely go back and recommend it.
