The best way to see the amazing Chao Phraya is via the Boat4U company. Pay for your ticket at the Saphan Taksim wharf (I did the 60bht one way trip in both directions). Modern, clean, on time boats with professional, friendly and attentive staff who can also speak English. This is easily the best way to take in the Chao Phraya sights and sounds.
Really enjoyed Chao Pharaya Cruise Dinner with my Family. food quality is nice. over all 5* Ratings
Very nice river in Bangkok and I was very intrested to look around the river sightseeing by boat.
the chao river is absolutely beautiful. you can see many of the major attractions of bangkok from it. Theres a laid back shopping mall where the ferry ports are, that allows for some incredible photos. you can also see great views of many different temples and churches, along with the sky rises of downtown area. if you would like the full experience, you can also hop on one of the many ferrys that will take you all up and down the river. If your looking for a place to cool off, going to chao phaya river is the perfect activity.
Night trips to the Mekong River are a good experience. On board the RiverCity, the table number label will be attached before boarding, because dinner on the ship is a buffet. Before boarding, there will be a group of beautiful women in traditional Thai costumes who will take photos with the tourists one by one, and give each visitor another flower. The purpose of the group photo is to wash out the photos on board and then install a photo frame to see if tourists buy them. If they need to buy, they will pay 250 baht. If you don't want it, you won't be forced to buy it. There are so many people on board that we have to queue up for buffet. There are many kinds of buffet dinner, as well as many seafood, and the instant noodles are delicious. While the boat is sailing, there will be singing and dancing performances, which are available in all languages, Thai, Chinese, English, Japanese songs, and Thai instrument solos. Along with the music, it's a good experience to enjoy the Mekong River at night, blowing the cool sea breeze and eating authentic Thai food. Along the way, you can see such scenic spots as Zheng Wang Temple, Grand Palace and Jiefang Bridge. In the later period, the crew also sang and danced with the tourists, and everyone had a good time. Our trip is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. It's a pleasant and relaxing journey. It's a good experience.
The water traffic on the Mekong River is very convenient. The Chaobaiye Express is also one of the main domestic means of transportation for Bangkok citizens'daily life, and also a means of transportation frequently used by tourists. It's not only cheap, but also can take you to some of Bangkok's main attractions. During the daytime, there is a water market on the Mekong River, where transport ships come and go. As the sky darkened, the lights along the river lit up, and tourist boats shuttling the river set sail, the Mekong River showed another unused style. We chose the Princess, a cruise ship with a journey of about 2 hours and a cost of about 200 yuan per capita. Sitting on a luxury cruise ship, as the hull sways on the river, it feels like a royal cruise. Along the way, there will be many important scenic spots, all of which are illuminated by night lights and have the novelty of first sight. The ship also arranged a rich candlelight dinner, bands and Thai classic dance hospitality oh.
Value for money! The cruise boat takes two hours and boards at 7:00 p.m. from the river city pier. There are Thai and international catering self-help. There are bands on the boat. The waiters bring their own singing and dancing modes. The music can also dance at any time with dishes on their hands. The night on both sides is good. Along with the evening breeze, you can see Zheng Wang Temple, Grand Palace, Rama Bridge, Ferris Wheel and some hotels, waterfront restaurants all the way.
I highly recommend this place as a must go when you are in Bangkok. The place is packed with many choices of delicious and affordable food. Shopping is another reason to be here. It is located by Chao Phraya river and so the breeze in the evening is so comfortable. There are many people but not too crowded and the parking is easy. Modern and accessible. Visit now!
With a long-tailed boat, we got on board and began to visit the scenery on both sides of the Mekong River. As the mother river running through Thailand, there are many famous Thai scenic spots on both sides of the Mekonan River, such as Jade Buddha Temple, Grand Palace, Zheng Wang Pagoda and so on. The only remaining water dwelling is a unique view on the Mekong River. It is a simple wooden house supported by thin wooden columns, which still bears the mark of the water after high tide and looks dangerous.
