The area covers an area of 5300 square meters, the construction area of 3224 square meters, the area to be renovated and expanded is 1200 square meters, the layout of the pavilion sits south and north, the building is modeled on the bronze drum shape of ancient China's south, the whole building is19.6 meters high, and the maximum diameter is56.6 meters.

The whole building is19.6 meters high, the maximum diameter is 56.6 meters, the total building area is 3224 square meters, and the total investment in infrastructure is 5.7 million yuan. The museum has 7 exhibition halls and more than 400 meters in length. The exhibition content is divided into "prehistoric culture", "laolong culture", "Yongchang culture", "the war of resistance in western Fujian", "people of all ages", "national culture", "50 years of construction achievements" and "natural resources" a total of eight topics.
