Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Yanoda Rainforest Park Moments ☘️💛
This was a lovely refreshing place to go. ✨
We used a DiDi/Cab to get to our destination. Once we arrived we managed to get help to buy tickets. The staff there are really friendly,so you won’t get frustrated about language barrier or not knowing where to go. #fun We didn’t get to do all the activities but we decided to do the Glass Bridge and Zip-lining ⚡️was so fun. There is a bus taking you to all the places, so not much walking you’d do. The view from the bridge was breathtaking. I’d advice bringing your own food or snacks…There ain’t many options but soft drinks/water is available. During our Ziplining experience you can either get a personal video shot for you using a drone for ¥100/ person or at the end of a ride there is a place to get Pictures of yourself which should be around ¥49 which includes 3pictures and a video…They both a worth having but up to you. Get to walk around and pass beautiful flowers and just spend the time relaxing. There is a waterfall climbing/hiking experience. #yanoda is definitely a place I loved. 🌸🥰. #newyearadventure #mytripvlog #nationalpark

Yanoda National Park
This is a pretty big park⛰
I think Covid has hit the region hard as you can tell it used to have a lot more people come visit & some attractions are no more. Saying that – you enter and queue to take a 🚌bus straight up the mountain (5-10mins). You arrive and there are some food stalls if you’re hungry & the staff sing to welcome. Some touristy shops here too.
There is a “wetland” area which had some alpacas & rocks to walk across the water with many picture taking ops, if that’s your thing.
What’s kinda nice about this park is that there is raised plank walkways and stairs throughout - but there are also options to walk a more ‘natural’ path where you are walking and climbing up big stone pathways which is nice!
There are some small rope bridges, some “lucid caves?!?” & small really nice untouched forest. I think those are the biggest and oldest date palm trees I’ve ever seen and they were magical. There is a 1000-year-old Banyan tree you can walk through and the jungle is left to enjoy almost naturally. Unfortunately you can hear the echoes of the restaurant and shop owners at times throughout the park but there are a few nice spots of just the birds and bugs! Of course – no National park is without its dinosaurs and you can find them dotted throughout this one, my favourite is in the orchid stream.
The maps are confusing to everyone – so just go with an open mind – it’s not a huge park and easy enough to get around. Unfortunately – they have small petting zoo and it was heartbreaking as the animals are pretty sad and their pens aren’t really spacious enough and is almost all concrete. I chose t rush through this as I found the state of the animals upsetting.
I didn’t do the glass walkway or the zipline, not because they are extra, but I didn’t give myself time.
All in all – I would recommend coming for a couple of hours to see some nice forest, rocks and some fresh air.
The park is about an hour from the airport & the drive there is stunning! ⛰

Chinese Hawaii, yay or nay? 🌴
🌴 Hainan Island is known as Chinese Hawaii for its tropical climate and warm sea. And it is one of the top destinations for sea lovers all around in China.
❤️Attractions: Yanoda Rainforest Park and Pirates' Island are totally worth visiting. Monkey Island won't recommend due to aggressive animals.
🌊There r 2 bays, that r most popular among the tourists: Dadong Hai & Yalong Bay.
Dadong Hai is VERY popular among Russian tourists due to pricing and location, so everything there is Russian oriented: food, music, service, hotels, everything.
The coast line is nice, there is a variety of small cafes, offering Chinese snacks and questionable Russian food.
🏖️ The beach is quite crowded, there are many people streaming right from the beach, so if you love the camera, go for it and you might get famous 🤩
🌊 The sea is clean and the sand is nice and soft. No big waves.
🛍️ Shopping is convenient here, there is a huge mall called Pineapple for its shape, where you can shop and dine worry-free.
🎠 Leasure: there are billions of small SPA-places offering massages and body treatment for a reasonable price.
🍽️ Food: remember that the majority local restaurants stop serving food after the dining hours.
Yalong Bay is more expensive, offering tourists 5* hotels with clean nice beaches and good infrastructure, hence the service is still have a room for improvement.
🏖️ Beaches here r mostly owened by hotels, they r clean & neat. The sea is nice & calm. No big waves.
🛍️ If you want to buy something, prepare to travel by taxi, all the malls and shopping arears r quite far. But on a bright side, nobody is trying to sell you bead necklaces on the beach.
🎠 Leasure & food: Yatai Commerand Area is in a wakable distance from many hotels, offers some local & western food + a little amusement park for kids.
💙 All in all, Hainan could be a great sea vacation option for sea lovers 💙

Binlang Ethnic Village Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A must-visit treasure of tropical rainforest attractions when traveling in Hainan
Baoting Betel Nut Valley, a tropical rainforest world full of mystery. Here is the oldest tropical rainforest in the world, with a unique ecological environment, attracting countless tourists to explore. Here, you can feel the magical charm of nature and appreciate the primitive scenery of the tropical rainforest. As soon as you enter Betel Nut Valley, you will be attracted by the beautiful scenery in front of you. The waterfall in the valley flows straight down, like a huge scroll, making people feel relaxed and happy. Through the waterfall, you will come to a dense forest. Here, the sunlight filters through the gaps in the leaves and falls on the soil, forming colorful light and shadow. You can feel the breath of nature, listen to the singing of birds, and feel the vitality of life. Walking along the small road in the forest, you will find many peculiar plants. There are precious tree ferns, mysterious ironwood, beautiful strangler vines, and the oldest bamboo in the world. These plants have witnessed the vicissitudes of Betel Nut Valley and make people marvel at the magical power of nature. In the depths of Betel Nut Valley, you can also visit the local Li and Miao villages. The residents here are hospitable, they invite you to taste their own fruits and experience their lifestyle. You can also enjoy the unique ethnic dances of the Li 'Frog Dance' and the Miao 'Lusheng Dance', and feel the strong ethnic customs. Of course, you can't miss the wild animals in Betel Nut Valley. Here, you can see cute monkeys, beautiful peacocks, and honest bears. They shuttle freely in the rainforest, coexist harmoniously with nature, and make people marvel at the magical charm of nature.

Located in Baoting County of Hainan, the Binglanggu Li & Miao Cultural Tourism Zone is a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County is a directly-administered autonomous county of Hainan Province, China, situated in the central-southern part of Hainan Island, bordering Lingshui County to the east, Sanya City to the south, Ledong County to the west, and Wuzhishan City to the north. The county covers a total area of 1,153.2 square kilometers, comprising 9 towns, 1 county-managed farm, and 1 county-managed residential area. The county government is located about 120 meters north of the intersection of Wenquan North Road and Yucai Road in Baoting Town.
Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County is located in the southern part of the Wuzhishan Mountains, with a terrain that is high in the north and low in the south, mainly consisting of low and middle mountains, hills, and hilly terrain. It belongs to the tropical monsoon climate zone, with abundant heat, plentiful rainfall, and a mild climate.
Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County has a long history, rich in natural and cultural landscapes. It is home to several 4A and 5A level scenic areas such as the Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park and the Hainan Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, as well as national-level intangible cultural heritages like the Li ethnic group's tree bark cloth making skills and bamboo musical instruments. The county has been honored with titles such as National Sanitary County, National Garden County, Home of Chinese Folk Culture and Art, and a base for cross-strait exchanges.
The whole family gives it a thumbs up! The mysterious and charming Li ethnic style
The Li ethnic culture is mysterious and charming, and the whole family is very interested. We drove to the Betel Nut Valley, and the experience was indeed very good, a scenic area that is very worth visiting.
It was only through this actual visit that I understood the great differences between the customs of the Li ethnic villages and towns and those of the urban/Han people. The Li ethnic culture is mysterious and charming, with old women in the villages doing hand weaving, Li ethnic magical medicine, silverware, beautiful clothing, percussion instruments, tattoos, totem beliefs, color sculpture, granaries, characteristic houses, pottery, lifestyle...
The intangible cultural heritage villages, using is the best protection, presenting is the best inheritance. Friends who are interested in Chinese culture must come, not to be missed!

The Summit Plan progresses steadily through Qixianling
Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park
Ticket: ¥50, Off-season: ¥42, Free for those above 70 years old, but there are hardly a few who can climb.
Shuttle bus ¥20, Cloud Ladder ¥158 (stair discount), Purified Water ¥12 (price ladder increase), Rock Climbing to the Summit ¥28, and there are some other entertainment charges.
The terrain and landscape of the tropical rainforest, looking up at the towering trees that block out the sun, looking down at the old trees with intertwined and complex roots, the path is dark and quiet, the air is oxygen-rich and fresh, and the climate is warm and suitable.
The entire journey consists of 2300 meters of stairs, which is said to take about 4 hours to go back and forth. My own test shows that it takes about 2 hours to climb up the mountain, gasping for breath; it takes about 1 hour to go down the mountain, with legs turning to jelly; the next day after returning home, the calf muscles are sore. If it weren't for frequent rests and chatting with passersby along the way, the total time spent should be over 2 hours+

"Hiking Mount Qixian Hot Spring National Forest Park was an absolute delight. The breathtaking scenery at the summit left me in awe, and the manageable trail was perfect for a first-time hiker like me. Remembering to bring bug spray was essential due to the presence of mosquitoes, and having ample water and snacks ensured a comfortable and enjoyable journey. The hotel has been in the heart for a long time, and finally lived this time. From Junyi of Sanya Bay to Qixianling, there is a bus transfer, which is very convenient. Pure resort, away from the city's other tropical rainforest style, very comfortable. The specially-designed superior villas are just next to the infinity pool. Although the balcony is soaked, the privacy will be a little bit worse, but the room will be beautiful, especially in the morning and evening. There are several swimming pools and hot springs in the resort. Although the water quality is not good, but the environment is first-class, there are cleanliness and can't help but jump off the water. Praise! Dinner group purchased the hotel's buffet dinner, and breakfast is a jackfruit garden, outside, the environment is good. Just being clean and afraid of insects may be more twisted. Overall, it's still great. Beauty does not want to go. Unfortunately, I only booked for one day, I really want to live for a few more days! Just a resort is not enough to play!
Seeing how such a villa building can not love it, surrounded by green plants, as long as you see this green eye, all the troubles are left behind.
I can't wait to feel the joy of rainforest life. The slight black light makes the room full of emotions. The table and chairs in the room are mainly brown, simple and generous. Features. Different from other high-end brand hotels, Junyi can reflect the ancient charm of ancient times, and it is a noble and low-key elegance.
Narada Resort & Spa Qixian Mount Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Among the numerous hot springs at Qixianling, I chose the Junlan Resort
After the previous note which mainly featured photo-taking along the Qixianling route, this one will talk about the hot springs. Not long after entering Sanyi Road, you start to see hot spring hotels appearing one after another. Some of the hot springs are old brands, but poorly maintained and dilapidated; some are crowded with people in the pools, lacking humanized services. We finally chose the 'Junlan Hot Spring Resort', which is off Sanyi Road, on the 044 county road. The 'Junlan' sign is also well-known. Inside the hotel, there is a cliffside pool that is very photogenic, and outside the hotel, there are places similar to bamboo forests that are also very photogenic. (This was mentioned in the last note, oh)
🌟 Highlights:
Cliffside infinity pool, dense shaded paths, hotel shuttle service available for going up and down the mountain, free towels and tea.
📝 Tips:
The cliffside infinity pool is not filled with hot spring water, so it can be quite cool in winter.
It's recommended to enter the hot spring pools after noon, as the water can be too hot otherwise.
You don't have to stay at the hotel; you can just buy a ticket for the hot spring. (This also allows use of the cliffside infinity pool)
Qixianling Junlan Winter Hot Spring Tour
Hainan Qixianling Junlan Resort Hotel
✨Highlights:
🌈Soaking in hot springs♨ in Hainan winter, Qixianling Junlan is definitely the first choice for most people👣, located in Qiongzhong Qixianling's Junlan, the detached guest rooms are located in the tropical rainforest☁, open the door, take a deep breath of fresh air, or stroll👣 in the rainforest🌧, feel the negative ions given by nature.
👍Recommended reasons:
🌈The room has an independent hot spring♨, very private, the guest room is detached, the hotel has a shuttle bus
🌈Room facilities:
✨The room is a bit old, maybe it has been open for a long time, but the service is still very good
🍒Restaurant environment:
The buffet restaurant is very large, breakfast is very rich, buffet dinner is slightly inferior
✍Attention tips:
👍Remember to bring mosquito repellent, and a jacket, because in the rainforest, the temperature difference between day and night is very large
🏠Hotel: ◎Hainan Qixianling Junlan Resort Hotel
Located in Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park, Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan Province, Qixianling Junyi Resort is a resort-style hotel built on the theme of Tropical Rainforest and Noji Hot Spring. At the foot of the mountain in the south of Lingnan, the seven peaks are used as the screen, and the back pillows are green hills and coconut trees. The first feeling of arriving at the hotel is like hiding in a natural oxygen bar, the air is extraordinarily fresh and comfortable, and the hotel rooms are mostly villas. All the buildings are built on the mountain, blending with the rainforest and wild creek hot springs, everything is natural. Stay away from the world.
In addition to the natural environment and hot springs, the hotel is most attractive to me is the multi-layered mirrored swimming pool. The double-layer structure consists of two swimming pools, which are connected by waterfalls. The upper swimming pool, at first glance, looks like an infinity pool. It is hidden between the mountains and the forests.
