Ended up here by chance and without expectations. What a magic place with the most interesting history. So worth a visit, and listen to the guide, watch the view and enjoy all the details.

    Very interesting

Visited today and really enjoyed it. The building is very well designed with great views from the roof terrace. The audio guide is excellent.

    Interesting but not great

If you have time and nothing to do, you can go here. All the house museums like this are all about the same to me. Interesting but once you've seen one, also kind of boring.

Additional Information

The Guell Palace was built by Gaudi in 1888 and was the creator of the great atmosphere of Gaudí. In 1984, he was selected as a World Heritage Site. The Guer family's coat of arms, cast in wrought iron between the arches, is extraordinary. The design of the parabolic dome in the central hall is ingenious, and the vaults and columns are clearly influenced by the Alhambra. The chimneys of different styles are the ancestors of many bold chimneys designed by Gaudi.
