I was dissapointed after walking all the way up there and finding out that you had to buy a ticket to get into a park! I get it that you have to pay to get into Gaudi’s house and stuff but a park?! plus, there were no tickets left. I recommend you buying your tickets in advanved if you want to get in. however views from the city were great! You can walk around the park but not get into the actual park, where all the cool sculptures are without a ticket.
An amazing example of Gaudi’s work. Get there early to beat the crowds and be able to take it in slowly and without haste, as it should be.
I’m writing this review after I visited the park for the second time. I opted for a paid entrance at the Pavilion again. It was probably bad timing for me because about half of the pavilion rooftop was under renovation. I’d say I shouldn’t have paid for the entrance and went around the free area instead. The free area is HUGE and there is a lot to explore. There are buskers along the walk paths too. Be prepared to climb up and down the hill. Or use the staircases of course. Good place to warm you up when you visit during the winter season.
another amazing Gaudi to tour
It was quite a hilly walk up there so take the bus/drive. Buy ur ticket online ahead of time so u can get in at ur desired time because there's a long queue to buy the ticket there & u can only buy a ticket a couple of hours ahead due to the limited times slots for people going in. U may buy an electric guide to walk u through the park. Once in I enjoyed observing the different style of architecture. There were views of the city and load of flowers in the garden area. Besides taking loads of pictures @ selfies there wasn't much else to do there except rest in the garden or on the open court.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PLACE IN BARSELONA!Wonderful views,so much people! So lovely
