Port Vell is great for families and daytime activities. The place itself is huge, and heavily transited by people on the weekends. This includes, tourists and locals! There's a huge bridge which you can cross, and right across you have a shopping mall that has so many stores and a food court as well. This makes the experience very fun, and also innovative. Another plus to this location, is the fact that you can take boats here and do a tour of the city. These boats go at a nice speed, and allow you to see most of the most famous parts of Barcelona. I really enjoyed it.

The best place to walk unntil the end of The Ramblas, and on the way to the beach.
The experience of the Rambla del Mar. Just 20 minutes walking distance from the flat, shopping , sea, acquarium and nice food....
Beautiful to walk through with the ocean and all of the boats. Also right in between Las Ramblas and El Borne. Definitely a place to check out on your visit...
A lively place with restaurants, street artists and a lot of pedestrians and bikers.
