Fun place to get close to the wallby 🦘May 2016 • Family First the admission ticket is more affordable compared to other zoos/sanctuary. We bought the food package to feed kangaroo / wallaby for $2. Along the Wallaby walk, you can really have a very up close experience with the wallaby and kangaroo. My kids love feeding them and keep wanting to go back. For other animal experience, you may need to pay a fee ($15 for koala). We did not take as we were quite happy to see if from a quite close distance. The only complaint I had was at the restaurant the food took a long time to arrive though the restaurant was not so crowded at all. You may want to spend lunch elsewhere (like at the Ashcome Maze cafe nearby).winter16734

koalas and kangaroos#celebratewithtrip at moonlit sanctuary , you can also see the koalas and kangaroos up close and they are so cute! for the koalas there is also a specific section and timing where you can take a picture with the koalas up close as they munch on their food. it is so cute but tickets required and by the time I contemplated on it , the tickets were already sold out so it was such a waste and pity! would suggest getting these tickets earlier in future if you ever visit. they are so lovely. the kangaroos are also very cute and jus chilling around. you can purchase food to feed them as well so as to obtain a close up picture with them. it was fun.gxx4

Sanctuary for wildlife at MoonlitStopped by Moonlit sanctuary park to catch some roaming animals where we get to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. There are some shows where its free but we paid extra for encounter with the koalas which was abit expensive at A$25 per pax but we did it to allow the kids to touch and pet the koalas. Feels like a nice haven for the animals to roam freely and nice stroll around the lake area with the ducks and water animals.Wanderer T1

moonlit sanctuary#celebratewithtrip went to moonlit sanctuary during my time in Melbourne as part of a package tour. it was really exciting for me. this is something you should definitely sign up for if you are an animal lover as you can get to see so many animals during your journey here. we saw so many animals such as parrots who imitated us and it was so cute. also some eagle and ostrich as well as Tasmania devil and wombat. all of them were just chilling and it was nice taking pictures of them and just looking at them as they are very cute. would highly recommend making a trip here if you have spare time, before going to Philip island.gxx2

moonlit sanctuary wildlife#celebratewithtrip went to the moonlit sanctuary wildlife conservation park and before exploring the place , I had my lunch here. they have a small cafe over here and they serve hot beverages and cold beverages as well as some hot food. ordered a fried chicken burger that came with fried and it was crispy and nice. it may be slightly expensive but food was still ok and good. also had the sandwich that comes with cheese and ham. also tasted not too bad. overall would recommend a meal here first before spending a few hours here exploring the place and taking some nice pictures of the animals. highly recommended.gxx2

Absolutely loved Moonlit Sanctuary! It was the perfect day outing for a family, plenty for adults and children to enjoy. Animal encounters were reasonably priced and it was amazing getting up close to some beautiful Australian natives! Would definitely go again, highly recommended! :)

There are many different kinds of animals, Zhong can hug the tree bear 🐨 Shadow phase 📸️ so cute, special experience!
I really like this Zoo! Thats my first experiencing on feeding Kangaroo. The koalas are very cute too!
