Photos of Alexandra Park Play Area
The approximately 11-acre Alexander Park was opened in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII and was named after Queen Alexandra. It sits at the top of Beechen Cliff, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the world heritage city of Bath. Alexander Park is one of the more beautiful views in the city: on one side is the cliff, the view of Bath below is breathtaking, and a stitched Bath is laid out in front of you, which is very spectacular; the other side is Bath's LyncombeVale, with its rustic vibe, is a classic bucolic landscape. Although it takes about 20 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain, the scenery on the top of the mountain is worth seeing. Here we can stand on a high place overlooking Bath and appreciate its beauty that has been lingering for thousands of years.
