The temple is small and undergoing renovation but we were very happy to be here. We visited the Loret Temple as part of our tour of the temples in the area. The scenery becomes so relaxing and peaceful as you leave the crowded 'famous' Angkor Wat, we really enjoyed the small temples in the area. Be sure to visit the 'Lolei and Kouk Trach Learning Center' (which they will receive you in a very polite way) behind the temple. We are surprised to find that little money can have such a huge impact on orphans' lives, so please donate.

The Buddhist temple built by Ba Mo to commemorate his mother was once hidden in the dense forest. I think it is one of the most distinctive temples. The temple and the trees are mixed together, which feels very shocking, but it lacks a lot of mystery. When the explorer found him, it had collapsed seriously, but it gave people a mysterious feeling. Because of the broadcast of "Tomb Raider", more and more people here are familiar with it.
This early temple was small in scale. It looked like it was built of red bricks. Of course, it was not as strong as a large stone. Part of it collapsed. It is now supported by wooden frames. Although the temple is small, it is just like the features here, exquisite decorations and carvings are everywhere, showing the extremely religious devotion of the locals. There is a newly built temple next to Luolai Temple. The traditional architectural model of Southeast Asia, especially the four murals on the roof, are full of watercolor paintings of Buddhist stories. There are only two little monks in the temple.
Lolei Temple was built in 893 AD during the time of Yasovarman I (reigned 889-910 AD). It is dedicated to Shiva and the king's ancestors. The name Luolai Temple is now a derivative of the original name Hariharalaya (meaning "Harihara City"). It’s hard to imagine that Lolai Temple was originally built in a huge pool of 3800 meters long and 800 meters wide (Indratataka Baray, built by the father of Yasubamo I, and now dried up) is 90 meters long and wide. 80 meters on the artificial island. The four brick towers of Luolai Temple are east-west axis, with the main entrance facing east, built on a high platform.
Only here can I experience the beauty of ruin. Every building in the entire temple has actually been crumbling, but this beauty is also very strong, and the various carvings that have been preserved are also very good.
