Photos of Enyang Ancient Town

Enyang Ancient Town is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province. It has a long history, and was constructed during the six-year reign of Emperor Liangwu of the Northern and Southern Dynasties Period of ancient China. It is located in the city of Bazhong and was historically a famous port of the northeast and a thriving market town on the Mi Cang Ancient Road. In the village are preserved a number of well-preserved large-scale buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was also the center of the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base area, the second largest Soviet command in the country. The Red Fourth Army established various administrative agencies in Enyang Country, and has various sites and facilities here. In addition, Enyang Ancient Town also features other scenic sites like the Baiyun Temple, Wenzhi Village, and Thousand Buddha Rock.
