On the north side of the square, the "South Pearl Soul" sculpture was built, which is a landmark building in Beihai. The Nanzhu Soul sculpture is located in the middle of Beibuwan Square in Beihai City, one of the landmarks of Beihai City. During the Beihai tour, the tour guide introduced us to the origin and significance of this sculpture, telling us that as long as you travel to Beihai with a group, you must go here. The sculpture was designed by the president of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and consists of a 30-meter fountain pool and a set of 15-meter-high three shells, with a steel bead sandwiched between the three shells, which looks pretty from a distance.
