Beijing Xuanwu Yiyuan Garden

In the Xuanwu Art Park in the late summer and early autumn, it is still green. During the lunch break, I met my colleagues to take a walk and chat here. Enjoy the flowers and green grass, the pavilions and towers, the small bridges and flowing water in the leisurely stroll, which is very pleasant.

Xuanwu Art Park, located at No. 12 Tongbaishu Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, covers an area of 7.37 hectares. The original site is Shanguo Temple, rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, to Qing Shunzhi as the first resort of Beijing, listed as one of the three mountains of Beijing Shibacha, gradually converted from woodland to Xuanwu Park in the late 1950s, and was destroyed by the earthquake. In 1983, the design was re-planned and rebuilt as Xuanwu Art Park in the following year, covering an area of 7.37 10,000 square meters.

Xuanwu Art Park is not simple, don't underestimate this area hidden in residential areas around, several doors are in the alley area is not a large park, this is the location of the Jindai Zijin Temple site, and it is still a 3A-level scenic spot. That is to say, both from the perspective of history and culture and from the perspective of hardware and software level, it has quite high qualifications. The park is not big, there are really many people, on weekday mornings, the garden is full of people whether it is the fake mountain of the West Garden or the lake of the East Garden, all the open spaces have groups of tourists carrying out a variety of activities. It is said that it is a tourist. In fact, it is estimated that 99% of them are nearby residents. Morning exercises, walking children, dancing, punching, band practice... Don't mention how lively it is. There are so many people here, mainly because the function of this garden is very complete. The outermost circle of the garden is a specially set up hiking trail, suitable for running, every 100 meters on the ground is marked, a whole circle should be exactly one kilometer, running, walking people are really a lot. On the duke hill of the West Garden, there is a small lake surrounded by pavilions, with lotus flowers and water plants, quite like the scenery of Jiangnan gardens. The spacious location of the corridor has a large-scale folk band practicing. The instruments are combined with Chinese and Western, and there are also flutes and violins. The effect of cooperation is still very good, attracting a lot of audiences. There is a large lake in the East District, surrounded by pavilions and water rafts, there are slices of lotus leaves and ducks in the lake, a few old people in the pavilion are singing, the kind with Hu Qin, very professionally amuse themselves. There is also a circled area on the shore of the lake. It is the territory of the big geese. A large group of white geese gather on the shore to receive tourists. Some are sleeping lazily two or three meters away from people. At first glance, it is used to living in harmony with people on weekdays. There are also several large squares in the garden, and several square dance teams of dozens of people are some spectacular. Some people find an open space to pull the Internet to play badminton and kick the chopsticks. This is early, and it is estimated that it will not occupy a good place later. In the field with the largest audience, there are boxers who are playing what seems to be Taijiquan. Maybe they can accept the apprentices on the spot. There are many audiences. Everyone watches the teacher playing fists very deeply, and their eyes are full of worship. When I was in high school, the school was on a street next to it. I often came over at noon and secretly sat under the tree and drank beer. I drank too much and slept on the bench. It was a common thing to escape a class. Now think about it, many details are already very vague, alas, like a world away. At that time, the garden was not so well repaired, and there were no people. Now it is so good to build it. Now it is difficult to drink and sleep here at noon. It is so lively that I can't sleep.

Xuanwu Art Park often came from school, and often ran to the garden after lunch and slept on the bench under the big tree. More than 20 years later, now I often bring my children. Although it is just a small park on the edge of a residential area, it has been built better and better in recent years. The fitness square, walking trails, and various leisure and entertainment facilities are becoming more and more complete. Even the big goose in Dongyuan Lake lives in a bird cage-shaped "big mansion", and a series of cat nests on the wall. It also made this place a paradise for stray cats, lazy one by one, not afraid of people at all. It is noon on weekdays. The surrounding residents and office workers during lunch breaks are walking in the yard. It is very lively, but it is much more lively than when I was a child.
