" Yuanda Metropolitan City Ruins Park (Chaoyang Section) " is located in Xiaoguan Street, Anwai, Chaoyang District, Beijing (near Yuhui South Road). From Yuan Shizu to Yuan three years (1266), Kublai decided to rebuild the new city in the northeast of the original Zhongdu City, and construction began in 1267. The palace, imperial city, and temple were built in Qionghua Island (now Beihai). By the year of 1272, it was named as " Most Capital ", all built in 1284, and the circumference was 28.6 kilometers. After the Ming Hongwu Yuanyuan (1368), the Ming Army contracted the north city wall to the south for about five miles, leaving a remnant of the city wall of more than ten meters, commonly known as " Tucheng ". In 1988, the Beijing Municipal Government officially approved the construction of the park, named " Yuan Metropolis Yuanchengyu Ruins Park ". In 1989, a monument of Yuan Dadu City Site was erected in the park, and the east side of the monument was engraved with "Dadu Fu"; the west side was engraved with the inscription of "Yuan Dadu City Site", which introduced the vicissitudes of Yuan Dadu City Wall for more than 700 years. The park after the transformation in 2003 became a classic garden with people-oriented, green as the body, water as the line, history as the soul, and disaster relief combined.
