This is where the Phoenician alphabet originated. The Phoenicians created Bibrus and many other world cultural heritage sites in today's Lebanon and Syria. Unfortunately, many of them were destroyed by the fighting. Bibrus is one of the few cities still inhabited today. Although most of the houses we live in now are newly built in modern times. Fig. 4 is the original house where the local residents lived. Later, the archaeologists found the treasure below, so they tore down the house and excavated the archaeological sites. The ruins here are layers after layers. First the oldest Phoenician civilization, then the Christian civilization brought about by the Crusade, and then the Islamic civilization. Huntington "Clash of Civilizations" is the best commentary on Lebanon and the Middle East, as well as the current world trade war and so on.
One of the amazing cities in lebanon
Bibrus, one of the oldest cities in Lebanon, has been inhabited since the Neolithic Age and has been closely linked to the legends and history of the Mediterranean for thousands of years. It's a very beautiful seaside town worth visiting. In summer, oleanders are very delicate and lively, and restaurants almost all speak French.
A favorite scenic spot, the small shop barbecue introduced by friends is very good.
I've seen people who eat raw fish fillets, but I haven't seen people who eat raw mutton. Lebanese people eat mainly vegetables because they think that the vegetables are pure, and mutton is the main meat on their table because they think that the vegetables they eat are clean, so mutton is clean, so fresh and tender mutton becomes their hobby.
Very nice city wonderful people
It has a long history and culture, beautiful scenery and fresh air.
Byblos is one of the oldest cities in Lebanon. Its history can be traced back to the time when the first fishermen settled here 7,000 years ago. Byblos is still the oldest city in the world that has ever been inhabited. Located in the coastal area of Lebanon, Bibrus has been inhabited since the Neolithic Age and has been closely linked with the legends and history of the Mediterranean for thousands of years. Bible is also closely related to the development and spread of the Phoenician alphabet. It is also the biblical name's biblical origin. Byblos is the etymology of the word Bible in English. Bible originally means "book".
