Antalya is a city on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Originally settled in 200 BCE, the city contains several highly-prized and well-known historic ruins. These include Hadrian’s Gate, built in the year 130 CE to commemorate Roman Emperor Hadrian’s visit to the area. Today, Antalya is the largest seaside resort in Turkey.
