The Magic Forest is located in the Ramsau area, between the Houhu and Marx canyons. It was formed between 3500 and 4000 years ago and covers an area of about 0.75 square kilometers. Nowadays, you can travel through the forest through hiking. The forest trails follow the tributaries of the Houhu Lake, and the streams are full of birds and flowers, which are suitable for walking. The enchanted forest was named after the 1920s and 1930s. Due to its landslide scenery, forests and streams, it created a romantic atmosphere. Later, it gradually developed into a famous tourist attraction, and there was a tourist introduction card that simulates a drawing board. There are many hiking routes in the magical forest. The most common and classic is to start from Houhu, then enter and cross the magical forest, follow the signs to the Ramsau Kirche stop and end at Ramsau's church. The reason why the back lake is recommended as a starting point for hiking is that most people start from the Ramsau church because it can save energy by going downhill all the way.
