The Holy Spirit Church is located on the west side of the old town of Bern. It is the largest Calvinist church in Switzerland and one of the larger Protestant churches in Switzerland. The church was built in 1228 with a hospital, and after several changes, the present Baroque church was built in 1729. The existing Holy Spirit Church is considered to be the representative work of the late Protestant Baroque church in Switzerland. The pure white ceiling, soft wall decoration and other details are worth savoring.
