The marathian dynasty was established in the early 13th century, and "mara" is a "wrestler" in Nepali. There is a saying that the Nepalese king at the time liked to wrestle. One day, when he was wrestling, he got the news that his son was born, so he added the word "marathon" to his son's name. Since then, the kings have added these two words to the name, and the name of the Mala Dynasty has come. In its heyday, Badgau has a large palace, a huge temple complex, 172 temples, and a resting place for 172 pilgrims.
