The Spanish food in a small alley mainly saw that the preserved egg is cooked well. This is Taiwanese food. Haha, the seafood fried rice sits just like that, without the style of the Spanish iron plate.
Similar to French cuisine, but not as streamlined as French cuisine, the environment inside is good, the decoration is European style, the baguette inside is delicious, there are people performing in the evening, and the light music is very good.
It's a very good shop. There are singers who sing along in the evening, and the singing level is not bad. The environment is better than other restaurants on the island. At least the air-conditioning is very adequate.
We went here Spring of 2013 based on Trip Advisor and not only had the best meal during our week in Boracay, but the best Spanish food we had eaten anywhere. Were so disappointed in the other places we tried that we went back there on our last night.
Very good tapas and excellent paella (we tried the valenciana one). The red sangria is also very good. We stayed in Boracay for a week and had dinner two times at Dos Metizos. The best restaurant we tried in the island !
I did not read any reviews before going to Dos Mestizos. I read about the Saturday night tapas bar and live music on a Boracay blog and just had to try it out. Never having tapas before I cannot compare it to other tapas but this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten!
The food was so delicious. We shared 4 plates of tapas between two very hungry people. We had meatballs in tomato sauce which were so tender and yummy we ordered a second plate. We also had the shrimp in garlic and chilli and beef pieces in garlic marinade. Everything was of very high standard and cooked to perfection.
We were surprised to see this Spanish restaurant tucked in an alley in Boracay. The place had an authentic ambience of a spanish tapas bar complete with a bull''s head with swords stuck to it. It was dimly lit with an old map of the philippines painted on one wall and old photographs of boracay people on another.
