There is a 15th-century castle near the city. It is said that in summer, actors wear castle costumes every week, as well as arenas and horse farms. There are also salmon farms around. It is very good to visit the door. The restaurant is at the door. Many locals come to the museum to learn about history and culture. Today, the snowy road is frozen and it is not easy to walk. It is about 2 hours drive from Budapest high speed.

Bordog Castle stands on a steep ridge on the west side of the Samperen Mountains. If you climb the wall, you will see the magnificent scenery of Samperen Nature Reserve. The exact time of the castle was not clearly documented, but it is certain that construction had begun before the Tatar invasion to defend the road to Koice. In 1282 King Laslow IV acquired the castle from the Tomaj family, which built the fortress, and it remained under the king until the end of the Arpad dynasty. The bridge that once was replaced by a wooden trestle that connects the road to the city tower, and after crossing the city tower to the lower courtyard, the whole castle is at your feet, so you can walk around. The interior of the castle is small and a bit messy, but there are many magical and interesting things to immerse you in, and two or three hours will pass. The castle consists of two parts: the lower castle and the upper castle. The lower castle includes the lower courtyard and ruined fortress relics, while the upper castle includes the main tower, the defense tower and the palace. By visiting archaeological discoveries of military history, ancient coins, shields and flag displays, as well as blacksmith shops and castle prisons, visitors will feel like they are back to the Middle Ages. From King Béla IV to Károly Róbert I to the Knights, it is a time trip. The castle is picturesque in summer, and there are wonderful Knights performances, with a happy atmosphere of laughter and humor. The Ranger knights use a single-handed or two-handed sword to mimic the fighting scene, heroic and not lost in the game. The fight also uses powerful attack weapons, including the famous chain and tomahawk, which are very spectacular. The beautiful part of the castle is called Lion's Rock, which is located at the end of the 20-meter-high bladed ridge where a watchtower is built. A new boardwalk has been recently renovated to make it easier for visitors to enjoy the beautiful ridge. The castle cellar is open to the cellar and you can rest there anytime, have a glass of wine to relax and enjoy the rare atmosphere. There is also a medieval restaurant under the castle. If you are looking for a castle with a great view, then the castle of Bordog on the hill is Must choose. Put on a pair of comfortable shoes and enjoy the tour.
