This area has become a hot spot for food. Sportello is a great option. Casual decor and loud but fun. The pastas are excellent. The starters are best had through a selection.

It&#39;s not snooty, you can come for lunch and if it&#39;s nice sit outside or come for drinks after work and hang by the bar. The menu shifts but they do ave some tried and true item&#39;s...I particularly love the Duck Tacos! I would highly recommend giving it a try.

I&#39;ve been here 3-4 times over the past year and I&#39;ve always found the food incredible. My staples are the burrata and Tagliatelle bolognese. The pasta is always fresh and perfectly cooked and the burrata paired with flavorful accompaniments that make it special (although a small portion). The restaurant has an open kitchen along the left wall as you enter and you can sit either at conventional tables or along a rectangular bar that looks in on the chefs preparing your food. The food and the physical space makes this a great restaurant for a date, family night out or a business meeting. Yet, there is an accompanying attitude of epicurean arrogance that I have encountered during every visit. It&#39;s an attitude that seems to rob the restaurant of the welcoming vibe that is often associated with Italian food as a family affair. And maybe that&#39;s to be expected when Italian goes urban chic, but for me it isn&#39;t necessary and prevents me from visiting with greater frequency.
