Great history lesson. Very interesting. I would say a guide is nice but not necessary. The cost is reasonable. Very pretty setting.

This place is very commercial and crowded. Student tickets are half price 10lei (an international student ID must be checked very strictly). Brown Castle is located on a hill in the canyon and the terrain is dangerous. The castle itself is not big or special, but a 19th-century novel called Dracula is famous here.
