Came for a late lunch on Sunday and was really impressed with the food and the service. The young male waiter that served us was fabulous, attentive but not overbearing. Both our mains and desserts were high quality and the meals were served promptly. The first glass of wine ordered tasted off but it was quickly replaced with an apology and a check to ensure the new glass was satisfactory. Overall really happy. We&#39;ll be back

Sono Japanese Restaurant Portside Wharf located in 39 Hercules St, Hamilton | Level 1, Building 7, Portside Wharf, Brisbane, Queensland 4007, Australia, we had a very pleasant meal at this restaurant. We thought it was definitely worth the money because we felt everything here was very in line with our taste. The sake here is delicious! The sashimi here is the best I have ever eaten! I didn&rsquo;t really like the spicy dishes but it was just a matter of my personal taste and not what the food itself was. The staff at this restaurant were very lovely and our experience was great. The cocktails were great too! This is the best restaurant I&rsquo;ve ever been to!

Enjoyable night!Second time for dinner, the muscles are to die for...... chicken was just as good! Topped off with an Italian glass of Pinot Gris....

Amazing mealsWe had dinner after the movies , so conveniently located to each other at Portside. We had booked for 8pm but arrived and 7.30pm and there were very accommodating and found us a table right away. The menu was really interesting , however the meal I chose was unavailable :-( but he substitute meal was absolutely delicious, so I will just have to return the try the other one :-) The waitress was very professional and friendly.A really lovely meal.

I love Ginga sushi. I mostly order from the train but also order Tempura often. Relatively quiet in a fun location. Great quality and yummy

We had a great experience the first time so decided to come back. The staff were friendly and happy to have a chat. They had good attention to detail. For example they said they would have our daughter&#39;s meal served quickly so she wouldn&#39;t have to wait and sure enough it was served promptly and when they saw she was looking for something to write on, the waiter ripped off a page from his order pad and gave it to her. My risotto with duck three ways was delicious and full of flavour. My only criticism is that there was a piece of grissle and fat in my meal and the risotto could have been a tad more moist. My husband&#39;s coffee cured duck breast was perfect. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Having been here before I vowed never to return after the rude and snappy staff whom seemed to not want to be there i returned today to give another shot and see if it had improved i was mistaken again and if your purchase is under $10 be prepared to pay a fee Businesses shouldn&#39;t charge said fee as not everyone carrys cash around and by not charging the fee it encourages more business
