Some people I know refer to this place as the "Lego Brick Church", which looks really like it from a distance. This small church is often overlooked by the locals. The red and white color of the church is very unique. The interior of the church is beautiful and it is open most of the time. The wood carvings on the top and bottom of the church are exquisite, and the inside is cool and you can avoid the outdoor heat waves, where you can enjoy the peaceful and peaceful atmosphere
Simply beautiful in its Historic existencesNowadays its dwarfed by the surrounding high rises but it most certainly stands out as a piece of historical architecture. You can go inside to marvel at it beauty but is also equally measurable from the outside. You can’t miss it it’s located on the corner of Ann and Albert Streets right across from the Brisbane City Hall
This church is small in the center of Brisbane, but the red exterior walls and top Gothic style are surrounded by high-rise buildings. The solemnity of the church is in sharp contrast with the surrounding traffic. It is said that this is the most popular place for locals to hold wedding ceremonies. The church looks like a fairy tale building, and across the road is the city hall building.
Albert Street Uniting Church is located on the north side of Brisbane City Hall/King George Square/Ann Street. This beautiful Gothic building is surrounded by modern buildings around it, like a fairy tale castle in reinforced concrete. Albert Church is an important religious center of the city. It is not only a gathering place for many believers, but also a place for many new couples to hold their weddings. Most of the visitors here are attracted by its beautiful decorations. Looking down on the Albert Church from the observation deck of the City Hall is like an exquisite model.
The most eye-catching inside the church is the organ. It is said to have been installed in 1890. It is the first organ that can sound in Australia and can produce good musical effects.
Just across from City Hall and down from the train station it is a well maintained Gothic style church. Now dwarfed by the skyscrapers behind it, it does manage to holds its position with grace even ...
Given the proximity to the city centre it would be a crime to pass this by. There is some stunning architecture, organs, and artwork in this lovely heritage building
Im a bit of a history freak, so this place was good to view, especially from an architectural perspective
Built of red brick with a Gothic themed, close to restaurants, public transport and City Tourist attractions.
Lovely older church with beautiful interior. Well-maintained and beautiful for weddings and other celebratory events. This is one of the first stops if viewing the many inner-city churches.
