    Don't go during school holidays

    Crazy busy and loud with running and shouting children. I think it's a great place to take kids btw but if you are interested in the exhibitions come in the morning to avoid those school holiday crowd...

    We picked the wrong day to visit

    Morning. Monday. School holidays. Bad choice. We lasted about 40 minutes. We will certainly try again but the experience this morning was nothing short of chaotic.

    Sea Monsters well worth a visit

    The Sea Monsters Exhibition is excellent - interesting, informative and well curated. We visit the museum regularly and the free permanent exhibits are also very good.
