The trip from Davos to Lugano just passed here. The weather was not very good when I went, there were not many tourists in the castle, and it was good to feel the history. There are several castles nearby, which were used as defenses before.
The Swiss town of Bellinzona is famous for its ancient castles. There are two castles in the city, and Montebello is the smaller one. The castle in the Swiss city is actually equivalent to a Chinese compound, such as the Qiao family compound in Shanxi. However, the European courtyard is large, the building density is small, and the compound has more open spaces.
