We are active predecessors... and when we are here, we try to walk 3-5 miles a day. Our accommodation for more than nine weeks (the sixth time) is coming to an end... so we did enter Buenos Aires, the public park where the fist-moving sculpture is located... sitting and watching other tourists enjoy it. There's no need to spend a lot of time here... but it's close to the Bells Artis Museum and Plz. Francia is in Recoleta. We haven't stopped several trips... We're glad we did it.
Floralis Genérica is a huge flower sculpture made of steel and aluminum located at the Plaza de las Naciones Unidas. The flower was actually a gift to the city by the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. Its petals move, closing in the evening and opening in the morning, really beautiful.
It's being repaired recently and it's blooming every day, but the isolation belt on the edge looks uncomfortable.
This looks amazing at night! I love how it opens and closes like a real flower! and is located in prime real estate of the city!
This huge sculpture is at walking distance from the apartment. It opens during the day and closes at night.
Passing through Argentina, it is one of the local landmarks. It is a steel flower made of stainless steel. It is said that it will open during the day and close at night. It is located in the United Nations Plaza Garden in the Northern District of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Personally, I don't think it's interesting. I don't know to come over to see it, just pass by and see it. Along the steel flowers, we went to the Rose Garden, which used to be the Royal Garden of Argentina.
